Florida native Deandre Johnson, a 2017 3-star defensive end who hails from Miami Southridge High School, released his top 6 list Sunday via his Twitter account. Tennessee, Auburn and Mississippi State all made the cut for the talented 6-foot-4, 236-pound defender.

Maryland, West Virginia and Cal round out the list for the No. 30 weakside defensive end in the nation.
In addition to the SEC programs listed in his top 6, Johnson holds an offer from South Carolina. 247Sports’ Crystal Ball predictions had projected Johnson would commit to the Gamecocks, so South Carolina’s omission from Johnson’s list is a bit of a surprise.
