A former Auburn Tigers star has a new home in the NFL.
Greg Robinson, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2014 draft by the then-St. Louis Rams, signed with the Cleveland Browns on Tuesday, the team announced.
The 6-foot-5, 330-pound offensive lineman played his first three seasons with the Rams before they traded him to the Detroit Lions before the start of last season.
He started six games for Detroit before going down with an ankle injury that forced him to miss the rest of the season.
Although Robinson has started 48 games in the NFL, he has never materialized into the player the Rams thought they were getting with the second overall pick.
During his career at Auburn, Robinson was an All-SEC and All-America selection.
