The New York Jets added some depth at defensive back by signing former Auburn quarterback turned pro cornerback Nick Marshall on Wednesday.

Marshall had been a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad prior to signing with the Jets. He made 13 tackles in 13 appearances last season. Marshall was an undrafted free agent out of college where he passed for more than 4,000 yards and 34 touchdowns as a quarterback for the Tigers.
