Queen, a redshirt freshman, announced his intention to transfer in March. A native of Kennesaw, Ga., he started the 2015 season as Auburn’s third-string quarterback. Queen redshirted following elbow surgery after Auburn’s opening win over Louisville. Last season, he saw playing time as a backup in Auburn’s victories over Louisiana-Monroe and Alabama A&M.
Queen enrolled early at Auburn in January 2014. He was a top-12 quarterback prospect, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
The Tigers finished 8-5 last season with an appearance in the Sugar Bowl.
