What a classy move by Bo Jackson.
The former Auburn running back wore a No. 54 below the letters “R.I.P” on the back of his shirt Saturday as the Tigers hosted Arkansas at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The gesture was done to honor former Auburn linebacker Quentin Groves, who died in his sleep last Saturday in his wife’s home country of Trinidad at age 32.
Auburn honored Groves, who was an all-SEC player during his career at the school from 2004-07, before the game with a moment of silence.
Bo Jackson is wearing a huge RIP 54 on the back of his shirt, and that’s Auburn. #wareagle
