Joshua Uche’s January itinerary just filled up.
The three-star defensive end announced on Sunday he intends on taking an official visit to Auburn in the coming weeks. As it stands, Uche is slated to take official visits to Michigan (Jan. 22) and Florida (Jan. 29). Given his current schedule, it’s likely he’ll journey to The Plains on Jan. 15, just days after the conclusion of the NCAA recruiting dead period.
Uche, a 6-foot-2, 212-pound senior out of Miami, Fla., de-committed from the Hurricanes in November and received an offer from the Tigers shortly thereafter. His lead recruiters have been linebackers coach Travis Williams and, more recently, newly hired defensive coordinator Kevin Steele.
Per the 247Sports’ Composite Rankings, Uche is rated as the No. 47 weakside defensive end in the country.
