As National Signing Day approaches in the first week of February, the attention in college football will soon turn toward spring practice, and Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn has provided some insight into how the Tigers will run their schedule.
In what will be the earliest spring practice start date in Malzhan’s tenure on the Plains, Auburn will begin spring practice on Feb. 27 in preparation for the spring game during A-Day on April 7.
“We’ll get it started and it will be real similar to what it was last year as far as getting two weeks under our belt, having that break for spring break and then coming back and finishing it and having our spring game on April 7,” Malzahn told SEC Country’s Justin Ferguson.
Auburn HC Gus Malzahn says spring practice will start Feb. 27. It’ll be a similar format to last year: Two weeks, Spring Break, two weeks, then A-Day.
