AUBURN, Alabama — Auburn needed two wins Sunday to secure a spot in the Women’s College World Series and did just that with resounding 4-1 and 6-1 wins against Arizona.
Auburn football coaches were in attendance, including head coach Gus Malzahn. He and many other Auburn stars took to Twitter to congratulate the Tigers advancing to their second straight College World Series. In fact, quarterback John Franklin III congratulated his girlfriend, Haley Fagan, on her first home run of the season.
