HOOVER, Ala. — Gus Malzahn is a man of few words, but he does tend to open up at SEC Media Days.
Well, as much as he can.
The fourth-year Auburn coach’s time came and went Monday morning without much in the way of controversy, though he did talk about the mistakes of the 2015 season and more.
We like examining words here at SEC Country, so we pushed Malzahn’s transcript at SEC Media Days through a word cloud and discovered the top 25 words he uttered (well, actually it’s 27 because of ties) in front of reporters.
His favorite word? “Good.”
The question is whether Auburn will be any good this season.
Malzahn averaged 118.4 words per answer. He was asked 23 questions. His longest answer stretched 212 words and his shortest answer utilized 65 words. His timing was nearly perfect for a time, too, with back-to-back answers stretching 115 words.
