LaBryan Ray’s recruitment has picked up significantly in recent weeks.
Offers from powerhouses Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee have poured in, but the rising three-star defensive end has yet to hear from another in-state program — Auburn.
The 6-foot-5, 283-pound prospect from Madison, Ala., has heard little from the Tigers since the program hired defensive coordinator Kevin Steele. But Ray is patiently awaiting an offer.
“That’s a school I’m definitely interested in,” said Ray, the No. 12 prospect in the state for 2017.
Ray is rated the No. 19 weakside defensive end in the country.
