The same day Kellen Mond told Baylor he is no longer committed to the Bears, he named a new leader.
That leader is Auburn.
“Right now I’d probably say Auburn is my leader, following with Ohio State and Texas A&M,” Mond told WOAI-TV in San Antonio, Texas.
The four-star prospect is considered the nation’s No. 4 dual-threat quarterback, according to 247Sports. He threw for 1,991 yards and 26 touchdowns with four interceptions, and rushed for 898 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior at San Antonio (Texas) Reagan High as a junior. He has since transferred to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
