On Saturday, Gus Malzahn replaced Rhett Lashlee with Arizona State offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey.
Lindsey and Malzahn have worked together in the past, as Lindsey was an analyst on the 2013 team. A number of Auburn players weighed in on the news, perhaps none more important than quarterback Jarrett Stidham.
The former Baylor quarterback transferred into Auburn and seemed pretty excited to be working with a known quarterback guru in Lindsey.

Chandler Cox, Stidham’s roommate, also tweeted his support of Lindsey.
Man I'm excited! Welcome to the family @CoachLindseyASU! Let's go win some championships!!

Stidham is expected to battle Sean White for the starting quarterback job this spring. Auburn went 8-5 this past season, which concluded with a loss to Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl.
