Auburn legend and Pro Football Hall of Fame member Kevin Greene is heading back to the NFL.
The Sporting News’ Alex Marvez reports the New York Jets hired Greene as their outside linebackers coach.

The Jets could use Greene’s pass rushing expertise. They had 35.0 sacks as a team in 2016, which was tied for 15th in the league.
Greene was the Green Bay Packers outside linebackers coach from 2009 to 2013. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016. Greene played 15 years in the NFL, making 3 All-Pro teams and 5 Pro Bowls. He twice led the NFL sacks and was the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year in 1996.
