Auburn ‘Kick Six’ hero Chris Davis to serve as honorary mic man for Iron Bowl

Chris Davis’ name will be remembered as long as the Iron Bowl is played between Auburn and Alabama, as his 109-yard of a missed Crimson Tide field goal in 2013 won the game for the Tigers.

With another big Iron Bowl coming up between No. 6 Auburn and No. 1 Alabama on Saturday in Jordan-Hare Stadium, Davis will return as the honorary “mic man” for the game, per

Auburn is vicious when choosing who will serve in the honorary role for each game, as Nick Fairley, who Georgia fans despise maybe more than any Tigers player in history, was on the field prior to Auburn’s beat down of the Bulldogs two weeks ago in the role.

Certainly Tigers fans will want to see another magic moment against Alabama as the SEC West title and a possible spot in the College Football Playoff is on the line.
