There may not be a more iconic pose in sports than the one former Auburn great Bo Jackson graced us with during a photo shoot in his playing days.
You know the one. He’s wearing his football shoulder pads and resting a baseball bat on his shoulders behind his head.
For a generation of fans, it was the ultimate symbol of a multi-sport athlete. And while some Auburn fans may have that picture in their home or saved to their computer, none are likely to have taken it to the level of sports artist Tim Carroll.
Carroll is known for taking sports artifacts, such as old baseball cards, and cutting them up in an effort to create new sports art out of them. He recently got took pieces of a used Bo Jackson baseball bat, chopped them into smaller pieces, and recreated the pose.
