AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn’s recruiting efforts are picking up in July and Auburn picked up the top junior college receiver in the country Friday.
Brandon Martin, a 4-star receiver out of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, announced his commitment Friday afternoon. The class of 2017 receiver formerly signed with LSU out of high school.

The Dallas, Texas native is 6-foot-4, 205 pounds and is 19 years old. He picked Auburn over Louisville, Arizona State, Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi State, LSU and others.
“It has been a long journey,” Martin tweeted. “I am very thankful for all the colleges that recruited me and that has been with me through the process.”
The 247Sports Composite rankings list Martin as the nation’s No. 1 receiver out of the junior college ranks.
