Auburn has landed a commitment from a one-time Florida pledge.
Three-star cornerback Jayvaughn Myers, brother of four-star receiver Nate Craig-Myers, committed to the Tigers during a ceremony at Pasco High School on Wednesday.
Myers, who spurned North Carolina in the process, officially visited Auburn the weekend of Jan. 15, where he appeared noticeably comfortable, per his brother, Nate.
“The biggest thing, really, was we wanted to get schools to recruit us individually, not just together,” Craig-Myers said of their recruitment. “I wanted him to feel as comfortable as I felt here. I came up here multiple times. This is probably, like, his second time being up here. I can definitely see in his eyes, him being my little brother, he was feeling comfortable. That’s the place right now.”
Rated as the No. 30 cornerback in the country, Myers reopened his recruitment in November after wavering on his pledge to Florida.
