An Auburn commit reportedly has a bad injury.
As reported by Keith Niebuhr of Auburn Undercover, 4-star offensive lineman Austin Troxell has an ACL tear in his right knee. The player, a member of the Tigers’ Class of 2017, suffered a torn ACL in the same knee last year.
“I’m pretty beat up about it,” Troxell told Auburn Undercover.
Niebuhr reports that the 6-foot-7, 335-pounder from Madison, Ala., sustained the injury on the first play of his most recent game last Friday. Troxell, who committed to Auburn in June, also drew interest from Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky and others.
