Auburn defensive end signee Nick Coe will not enroll in class next week, his high school coach told Keith Niebuhr of 247Sports.
Coe, a four-star player from Asheboro, N.C., was expected to arrive at Auburn this weekend, but Coe’s high school coach, Owen George, said an academic issue will keep him from arriving until July 31.
The 6-foot-5, 269-pound Coe must retake an online course for a higher grade, George told Niebuhr.
Coe is ranked the No. 11 player in the state of North Carolina.
