After spending the last two years with the Cleveland Browns, former Auburn linebacker Karlos Dansby has a new NFL home.
The 13-year NFL veteran will sign with the Cincinnati Bengals on Tuesday after visiting with the team last week, according to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.
Dansby began his NFL career in 2004 when the Arizona Cardinals in the second round of the NFL Draft. After six years in Arizona, Dansby joined the Miami Dolphins from 2010-12 before returning the the Cardinals for a year and heading to Cleveland in 2014. Dansby amassed 108 tackles and three interceptions last season before being released on March 16.
The 34-year-old has totaled 1,210 tackles, 41 sacks and 19 interceptions during his NFL career. Dansby played for Auburn from 2001-03 where he collected 219 tackles, 36 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, 15 pass deflections and eight interceptions. The former Auburn great earned First-team All-American and First-team All-SEC honors during his senior season.
