AUBURN, Alabama — The fourth season of the Gus Malzahn era is an important one for both Auburn and its head coach.
Auburn has been on a downward slope in the win column since the magical run to an SEC title in Malzahn’s first season (2013), and a seven-game win total last season nearly included a loss to in-state FCS foe Jacksonville State.
The Tigers face big questions at quarterback, a need to depend on an influx of freshmen at receiver and the hope the defense will make improvements under first-year coordinator Kevin Steele.
The oddsmakers at 5Dimes have already set their win totals for teams, including Auburn. The win total for Auburn is set at 7.5 games, which includes postseason games.
What do you think? Is that a fair line?
