Kids, don’t try starting a “Dab Cam” at home.
The New York Yankees thought it would be a wise idea to feature a between-innings “Dab Cam” that shows fans doing Cam Newton’s famous celebration. Oh, was this wrong.
Of course, this concept might have sounded great is a meeting someplace in the Bronx. Clearly, someone thought fans would get a kick out of the exercise or at least it would pass without becoming viral if the whole thing flopped.
Well, the “Dab Cam” is becoming famous for the wrong reasons.
Check out a collection of the feedback below from Twitter users who weren’t pleased with the introduction of the “Dab Cam.” Sure, Auburn and Carolina Panthers fans might enjoy a quality dab. But as you can see, the “Dab Cam” isn’t for everyone.
Perhaps it’s no coincidence that the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Yankees 7-6 on Wednesday.
Yankee Stadium now does a “Dab Cam.”
I think it’s about time for the meteor to arrive.
