Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher had some strong words about Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn’s offense this week, but that criticism may have just been a smokescreen.
SEC Country’s Lauren Shute joins Brandon Adams to discuss Fisher’s comments, and she thinks Fisher might be trying to distract people from some of Florida State’s issues.
“I think it was probably a nice distraction from Fisher to distract away from the fact that his defense is giving up nearly 500 yards in every game this year,” Shute said.
Fisher’s comments, which centered around Auburn’s play during the 2013 Iron Bowl, also created some controversy between Alabama and Auburn fans. Shute and Adams discuss how this new stir could affect this year’s Iron Bowl as well.
