Catching a kickoff is not easy. Just ask anyone who has returned kicks in the SEC through the years. And we received a sobering reminder that we should leave attempting to catch those kicks to those who train daily to do so.
During Saturday’s game between LSU and Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium, an eager photographer put herself in the role of kickoff returner after a kickoff from Auburn’s Daniel Carlson soared through the back of the end zone for a touchback.
Let’s just say it didn’t end well:
