Will Auburn’s struggles force this 4-star athlete to reconsider his top 3?
DAWSON, Ga. — Tray Bishop has a top three of Auburn, Florida State and UGA. He described the Tigers’ early-season struggles as “ugly,” but there is some good news for Auburn fans.
Bishop, a 2017 4-star athlete from Terrell County High School, told the AJC’s SECCountry.com that he is concerned about Auburn’s slow start, but it’s not going to make him change his leader at this time.
“I probably wouldn’t rethink things since I got one more year,” Bishop said.
The 6-foot-3, 193-pounder says the main things that make Auburn his top school right now are the facilities and his relationship with coach Gus Malzahn and recruiting coach Scott Fountain.
In the video above, Bishop answers the following questions:
1) Bishop plays quarterback for his high school team, but what position does he want to play in college?
2) Which SEC program does he want to hear from and which one has he heard from recently?
3) The in-state Bulldogs are No. 3 right now. Why is that?
