A woman who accused former Auburn running back Jovon Robinson of domestic violence recanted her story saying she made it up. The allegation of domestic violence played a part in Robinson being kicked off the team earlier this year though Robinson reportedly also had other off-the-field problems.
“I was upset with him because he didn’t want me in his room,” the accuser told AL.com reporter James Crepea. “We were just arguing.”
The accuser’s name was not published in the AL.com report. She initially accused Robinson of smashing her head in a door, injuring her face, knee and shoulder.
Robinson was expected to be the Tiger’s top running back this season. He still has not announced where he will continue his college career.
