FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The injury bug is biting the Florida football team Saturday.
Gators linebacker Alex Anzalone left the Arkansas game early in the third quarter with an apparent injury to his left arm. UF starting center Cam Dillard hurt his left knee in the first half and returned from the locker room on crutches.
Anzalone is second on the team in tackles (53), including 8 on Saturday. He suffered a season-ending shoulder injury last year and missed the final 12 games of 2015. Anzalone’s shoulder also gave him trouble during his freshman season in 2013.
Redshirt freshman linebacker Kylan Johnson replaced Anzalone in the lineup.
