GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida’s tight ends showed flashes this year, but the Gators need them to shine brighter in 2017.
Starter DeAndre Goolsby finished the regular season with 315 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns, but was limited with an injury during the second half of the season. Backup C’yontai Lewis had 184 yards and 2 touchdowns, though he stepped up against UGA when Goolsby was hurt the worst.
In the latest edition of Chomp Chat, Gators beat writer Zach Abolverdi and UF broadcaster Jeff Cardozo breakdown the tight end position.
