Former Florida Gators quarterback Chris Leak “adamantly denies” the sexual assault allegations brought against him last week and has retained an attorney.
The same man who defended Jameis Winston’s 2013 sexual assault allegations will represent Leak: Tim Jansen. Jansen issued a statement to Sports Illustrated’s Andy Staples.

According to the police report, first obtained by the Orlando Sentinal, Leak allegedly asked a 16-year-old girl to massage his legs in the athletic trainer’s office after exiting the shower wearing only a towel. An investigation is ongoing and Leak has not yet been charged with a crime.
Leak was in his first season as the head coach at Edgewater High School (Orlando, Fla.) but resigned last Monday. The team was 0-5.
Leak quarterbacked the Gators from 2003-06, winning 37 games over four seasons, capped by the 2006 BCS National Championship. He coached the Gators for two season, first as a GA in 2013, then as a wide receivers coach in 2014.
