Florida shortstop Dalton Guthrie has the web gem of the night so far in Game 1 of the College World Series finals.
Guthrie went deep into foul territory in the third inning Monday night to track down a ball off the bat of LSU leadoff hitter Kramer Robertson and make a stumbling catch.

The Gators got out of the inning without surrendering a run, then immediately scored 3 runs in the top of the fourth to make it 3-0.
Guthrie also has an interesting family tie.
Former LSU pitcher Mark Guthrie’s son Dalton – the SS for Florida – just made a great run and catch of a foul ball.

Guthrie was a sixth-round pick by the Philadelphia Phillies.
You don’t see a lot of diving catches on the warning track. Apparently, Florida SS Dalton Guthrie is feeling just fine. What a grab. #CWS
