GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Gators stayed hot on the recruiting trail Thursday, adding another prospect for their 2018 class.
Iverson Clement, a 4-star athlete from Mount Holly, N.J., committed to UF over Michigan State. He also held offers from Michigan, Ohio State, Tennessee and more than a dozen other schools.

The 6-foot, 190-pound prospect is ranked the nation’s No. 17 athlete, but the Florida coaches are recruiting him as a running back. Ja’Juan Seider is the primary recruiter for Clement, who visited UF in late March.
The Gators now have six members in their 2018 class. They’ve landed five total commitments in the past week for 2018 and 2019.
