DeAngelo Gibbs is making a return trip to Florida this month.
The 4-star cornerback from Grayson High School (Loganville, Ga.) is visiting UF for its Friday Night Lights recruiting event on July 22, according to ESPN’s Derek Tyson.
Gibbs first visited the Gators in March and told SEC Country that the trip exceeded his expectations.
“It went real well,” Gibbs said afterward. “I saw things I had never seen before at any other school. I’d have to rate this visit a nine. Nothing’s perfect. If it was perfect, I would have a committed.”
Gibbs doesn’t plan to settle on a school until after his senior season. He is ranked the nation’s No. 4 cornerback and the Class of 2017’s No. 34 overall prospect.
SEC Country will have more on Gibbs this week at The Opening, Nike’s annual summer football camp for elite prospects.
