Florida let its Week 7 contest against Texas A&M get away from it late as the Aggies came from behind to upend the Gators 19-17 on Saturday night in Gainesville.
The Gators (3-3, 3-2 SEC) let a 17-10 lead get away from the late in the game, allowing three Daniel LaCamera field goals in the fourth quarter, including the game-winner from 32 yards out.
Feleipe Franks accounted for 211 total yards, including a nifty 79-yard run to set up Dre Massey’s first career touchdown. But it was the freshman’s second interception that sealed the win for the Aggies (5-2, 3-1 SEC).
While Jim McElwain’s job appears to be safe, for now, but the same can’t be said for offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier if it were up to the Gators faithful.
It’s safe to say that we won’t be seeing Florida’s “swamp” green alternate uniforms for a long time…if ever again.

Amanda Frizzell: Same thing every game. Ridiculous. Offense and defense both need to get it together. Not believing in coaching staff at all. CHANGE!! We don’t even have a defense anymore, much less top 5!!! How long will we keep digging a grave in Florida?
Eric Rickman: All I can say is WOW! Our offense is about as inept as any I have ever seen. Franks stares down receivers, won’t throw the ball out of bounds, just seems lost at times. Defense can only do so much when they are in the field so much.
Cliff Sanders: I just don’t get it ate we so spoiled as gator fans we can’t see we have injuries on all side of the ball. Absolutely no way to be competitive with all those young first year players. Blame someone blame those selfish 9 players that got suspended at the start of the season. Open your dam eyes at the situation this coaching staff is in before you start calling for heads to roll.
Maurice Lewis: Franks missed two wide open TDs. Young QB play shows like a bonfire in the night. Factor those in and Texas A&M has to game plan differently.
Greg Wilson: Franks just isn’t ready, pathetic showing by an already inept offense. No creativity in the play calling, A&M knew the run was coming the whole 2nd half. Fire Nuss.
Jeremy Herndon: Time for some coaching changes start with offensive coordinator! We didn’t make any second half changes. If we did we only got worse. Pathetic!!!
Michael Lupone: New uniforms… same offense!!! Both are ugly and difficult to watch.
