Southern Cal has given Jachai Polite something to think about.
The Florida defensive end commit from Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland officially visited the Trojans this weekend, and they apparently improved their standing with him.

Gators coach Jim McElwain and defensive line coach Chris Rumph met with Polite a few days before he went to California. Coming off his trip to UF last weekend, Polite told SEC Country in a video interview that he knew nothing about USC.
“I’m considering them, but they have to show me a lot,” Polite said. “I’m very solid with coach Rumph and coach Mac.”
Rumph will likely visit Polite this week to reinforce Florida’s standing. The 6-foot-3, 250-pounder is ranked the No. 31 strongside defensive end in the nation.
