Florida has landed a recruit from Alabama for the fourth year in a row.
The Gators received a commitment Saturday from 3-star linebacker Jammal Abrams, who attends Jackson-Olin High School in Birmingham, Ala.
Abrams visited Florida for Junior Day and pulled the trigger while on campus. The Gators offered him on Jan. 12.
The 6-foot-3, 224-pound Abrams is ranked the nation’s No. 18 inside linebacker in the 247Sports composite. He also holds offers from Louisville, Oregon, Ole Miss and South Carolina.
The Gators now have four members in their 2019 class with the addition of Abrams, who will be the seventh Alabama recruit to sign with Florida since 2016.
