Florida DB apologizes for tweeting that Florida “sucks”
Florida defensive back Jalen Tabor has apologized for his Twitter rant which said the “uf athletic association sucks.”
Tabor was suspended for Saturday’s game against Tennessee for reportedly refusing to take a drug test. The defensive starter was obviously upset by the suspension on Wednesday night.
“Never believe what you read, uf athletic association sucks. But I’ll be back next week,” Tabor tweeted before later deleting the tweets.
His mother even claimed to the Gainesville Sun that it wasn’t her son’s Twitter account, although there had been interaction between her and the Twitter account @_31Flavorz in the past. That’s also the name of Tabor’s Instagram account.
However, on Thursday morning, Tabor posted several new tweets:
Great morning to everyone I just want to say I'm sorry for my actions . I kno I said some things that shouldn't have been said .

Tabor and backup quarterback Treon Harris are both suspended for Saturday.
I can only describe these tweets by recently suspended Florida CB Jalen Tabor as fascinating. pic.twitter.com/1JkEnXXq83
