Florida defensive end Jordan Sherit will be out for a little while.
As relayed by SEC Country’s Ryan Young, Florida coach Jim McElwain said Sherit will have a knee scoped and be out “a little bit.” The Gators will host LSU on Saturday.
Sherit had 20 tackles and three sacks through Florida’s first four games. McElwain also said that defensive tackle Caleb Brantley is sick and hurt a finger. McElwain said Brantley’s availability for the LSU game is unknown.
