Florida defensive back Chauncey Gardner gets injured after defending a slant pass
Chauncey Gardner sparked some controversy earlier this week when talking about Jake Fromm.
You say they have a great quarterback — I get it. He’s throwing simple passes — I get it. Anybody can throw a slant — I get it,” Gardner said earlier in the week.
Gardner ended up getting hurt in Saturday’s game against Georgia. And it happened, ironically, defending a slant pass.
Bears pointing out that’s UF’s Chauncey Gardner injured on that slant to UGA’s D’Andre Swift.

Just one play after Gardner got hurt, Georgia scored a touchdown to take a 28-0 lead against the Gators.
Things are going very, very poorly for the Gators. The game can be seen on CBS.
