GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida gave up a third-quarter touchdown to Missouri after losing a defensive starter.
Senior linebacker Jarrad Davis exited the game after hurting his left ankle or knee. He needed the help of two trainers on his way to the locker room and did not put any weight on his leg.
Davis had 8 tackles and a quarterback hurry prior to his injury. The first-team All SEC preseason selection leads the Gators in tackles this season.
True freshman linebacker David Reese stepped in for Davis on the next series.
