Emmitt Smith will forever be known as a legend in Gainesville, Fla., where he rushed 3,928 yards and 36 touchdowns as a Florida Gator.
That is why it is so shocking to see him wearing a shirt of another SEC team: the Texas A&M Aggies.

Settle down, Gators fans. Smith is just being a good father and supporting his daughter Rheagen, who has committed to play soccer for the Aggies.
The Smith’s family ties in Texas runs deep, as Emmitt was a superstar for the Dallas Cowboys during the 1990s, helping lead the franchise to three Super Bowl wins. He finished his career with 18,355 rushing yards and 164 rushing touchdowns, ultimately earning a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
With a clash on the gridiron coming on Oct. 14 between Texas A&M and Florida in Gainesville, the question has to be asked: will Emmitt be doing the gator chomp, or will he let out a big “whoop!”? My guess is on the former.
