Florida falls to No. 12 in latest College Football Playoff rankings
As expected, Florida’s performance in this past weekend’s game against Florida Atlantic has hurt the Gators in the Playoff rankings.
Florida is now ranked No. 12, which is down four spots from its No. 8 ranking from last week.
The Gators will have a chance to rise in next Tuesday’s rankings with a win over No. 13 Florida State on Saturday. The Gators will then square off against the SEC West’s champion on Dec. 5 in the SEC Championship game, which will either be against Alabama or Ole Miss.
Despite Florida’s poor performance in the past three games, one would think that the Gators would be one of the four Playoff teams if they were to win the SEC Championship game.
