Glorious college football returns in full today, and there a million more important things happening. But let’s take a second to admire this gem discovered by ESPN’s Chris Low.
On Saturday morning, Low published an interview with Florida superfan Richard Ward, who traveled from Fresno, California, to Gainesville in order to see his No. 25 Gators play UMass this evening.
The real point of interest here is Ward’s tattoo of Spurrier being carried off the field by a group of his former Florida players. The Head Ball Coach might look a little older now, but thankfully, he is immortalized here on the calf of his longtime supporter.
Enjoyed meeting Richard Ward and his wife, Stephanie. Huge Florida and Steve Spurrier fans. And check out the tattoo https://t.co/HOHReYolj3
