GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida has signed all of its junior college transfers to their letters of intent.
The last was kicker Eddy Pineiro, who flipped from Alabama to the Gators on Tuesday. UF coach Jim McElwain announced Pineiro’s signing on Twitter Wednesday, as well as junior college commits Dre Massey and Mark Thompson.

Pineiro is ranked the nation’s No. 1 junior college kicker and should start for the Gators from day one. He was lights out at Florida’s summer camp in June and earned an offer from McElwain.
Alabama coach Nick Saban followed suit after watching Pinerio kick at his camp, and the Miami (Fla.) native committed to the Tide. But after two UF visits and seeing Florida’s need for a kicker, Pinerio made the switch to the Gators this week.

In addition to transfers Massey, Pinerio and Thompson, Florida has eight prep prospects who are enrolling early: Quarterbacks Feleipe Franks and Kyle Trask, wide receivers Josh Hammond and Freddie Swain, offensive lineman Stone Forsythe, defensive end Jordan Smith and cornerbacks McArthur Burnett and Chauncey Gardner II.
Smith, who committed to the Gators on Sunday, is the only midyear recruit who’s yet to be announced by Florida.
