Days after Jim McElwain announced that Gators safety Keanu Neal, offensive tackle David Sharpe and defensive tackle Jonathan Bullard were all battling injuries, two of those guys will be able to play this Saturday.
Neal and Sharpe, who were both battling foot injuries, have been cleared by the medical staff to play this Saturday against South Carolina. Bullard, who was listed as doubtful by McElwain on Monday, has been upgraded to “highly questionable,” according to the Palm Beach Post’s Luis Torres.
If Bullard can’t go on Saturday, defensive linemen Khari Clark and CeCe Jefferson will see more playing time.
Defensive lineman Joey Ivie remains out with a leg injury and DL Jordan Sherit, who was ejected for targeting late in the fourth quarter this past Saturday against Vanderbilt, will have to sit out the first half this weekend, per NCAA rules.
