With the help of Baylor, Stanford, LSU and Utah all losing, Florida has jumped up in the newest AP Poll.
The Gators are now No. 8 in the rankings, three spots higher than last week’s No. 11 slot.
More importantly than their ranking in the AP Poll, the Gators beat South Carolina on Saturday and remain in the hunt for a top-four spot in the College Football Playoff rankings. When those rankings come out Tuesday, you better believe that the Gators will move up from No. 11 in that poll, too.
Florida will host FAU this Saturday before finishing out the regular season against Florida State.
