Four-star QB Feleipe Franks announced his commitment to Florida late Sunday evening, a week after backing away from his pledge to LSU.
The move doesn’t come as a total surprise: Franks has unofficially visited Gainesville, Fla., each of the last three weekends. Upon de-committing from the Tigers, many recruiting circles believed he was a strong lean to the Gators.
The 6-foot-5, 220-pound senior from Crawfordville, Fla., becomes the fifth recruit to commit to Florida in November and the 26th overall in next year’s recruiting cycle.
He is rated as the No. 5 quarterback in the country.
It's great to be a Florida Gator! #Committed ?
