Florida lands commitment from in-state offensive lineman
A day after announcing his de-commitment from Miami, offensive guard Jawaan Taylor took to Twitter to announce his pledge to Florida.
The 6-foot-5, 330-pound senior from Cocoa, Fla., had been committed to the Hurricanes since August. But recent events culminated in a rather quick decision to flip. Taylor last unofficially visited Florida on Nov. 21. Four days later, the Gators offered the three-star prospect.
Taylor, the No. 44 guard in the country, gives Florida its 25th commitment. Earlier in the day, junior college receiver Dre Massey publicly announced his pledge to the program. Florida has now landed four verbal commitments in November alone.
