Florida moves up to No. 11 in AP Poll
Florida had the weekend off, but that didn’t stop the Gators from rising in the AP Top 25.
The Gators are now ranked No. 11 in this week’s poll, which moves them up two spots from last week’s ranking. Florida got a bump in the rankings because of Utah and Florida State getting upset on the road. UF is the fourth-best one-loss team in this week’s poll. Alabama, Stanford and Notre Dame are ahead of the Gators.
UF will travel to Jacksonville this weekend to take on UGA. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. If you can’t make it to Jacksonville, as always, you’ll be able to watch the game on CBS.
With a win over UGA, Florida would essentially have the SEC East locked up, although it can’t mathematically clinch the division on Saturday. The Gators would still need to beat Vanderbilt.
