Florida players took to Twitter Thursday afternoon to blast those who still wanted the game between LSU and Florida played on Saturday.
Their main message was making sure people knew their were bigger issues at hand than just a football game. Defensive lineman Caleb Brantley was among those who weren’t amused.
People still talking bout this game like we don't have families at the crib ?

Many Florida players come from the sunshine state and have family in the path of the hurricane. Defensive end Cece Jefferson retweeted Brantley, adding that they would have to play inside Hurricane Matthew if the game were to be played on Saturday
Let them go out there and play against Matthew ? https://t.co/2R74Up7F26

Whether the game will be rescheduled remains up in the air. Florida reportedly offered to play the game on Nov. 19, but LSU refused. Others such as Paul Finebaum and Butch Jones have also made their voices heard Thursday.
