GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida quarterback Luke Del Rio suffered an apparent leg injury Saturday at the end of the third quarter and left the game.
The severity of his injury is unknown, but he walked into the locker room unassisted and pumped up the crowd. North Texas defensive end Devin O’Hara hit Del Rio late on the play and was flagged.

While he was down on the field, UF coach Jim McElwain chewed out the refs over the cheap shot and had to be restrained by his players.

On the ensuring play, Florida left guard Martez Ivey was ejected from the game for a personal foul. The SEC office ruled that Ivey will not have to miss time next Saturday against Tennessee.

Graduate transfer Austin Appleby took over for the Gators at quarterback and led them on a touchdown drive to make the score 25-0.
